Tamaki Int - Drumming Highlights

We had an awesome show at school on Monday when Dylan came and drummed. The students loved the performance and these are the highlights - filmed by Victor and John and edited by Victor.

Yesterday we had a drumming show in the Hall. The show was on Monday 24th November. Dylan is 18 years old. He started drumming when he was six! The show was amazing and cool. He has a website that you can check out at www.dylanelise.com He had some great moves and was an amazing showman. If you get a chance you have to see this show!

Dear Mr. Webb in room 6,
we are from Mr. Toa's class and wanted to know if you could answer a few questions about the Aborigines.

1. What are there clothes made of?
2. How did they make there clothes?
3. What do they like to eat?
4. How do they make there shelter?
5. How do they make a living?

It would be wonderful if you could answer these questions on one of these blogs on any post. blogs.saschina.org/hannah01pd2016

Hi Mr. Webb. My name is Kathleen and I go to Shanghai American School. In Mr.Toa's class (toa's troops.) In our natives project I am in the Maori group. We were asking if you and your class could help us answer 'How has there way of living changed over time?' and 'Explain how jobs divided between men, women, and children.' and 'How did the Maoris build and protect their homes?' It would be great if you and your class could try and answer these. Thanks a lot.

Thank you for your comments. We did have dunk the teacher and it was very popular especially when our Principal was dunked. We made about $11,000. Our class ran the Sushi and Devonshire Tea stall. We were very busy. We had lots of parent and community support which was great. Loved the drumming !

Talofa Mr. Webb and Room 6. I have been following your blog for a while now and am very impressed with the work that you do.
I am a Kiwi/Samoan teaching in Shanghai China and want to thank you for offering your help to my students with their research project. I am particularly proud as I once lived in Panmure on Church Crescent...just down the road from your school.

Thanks again

Mr. T

Great post Room 6. What a pity you didn't know about Mr Toa when you were compiling your global sasa - he must have been able to contribute a fantastic one. Is it too late? Could you ask him to get his class to do one and upload it as a late edition?
