Tamaki Int. - Maori Speech Winner 2008

This is Joseph's speech from the 2008 Whakokero finals. He was the winner of the competition and this is his speech. This was filmed by Victor on the day of the finals and he edited this as a final product. There are details on this blog relating to the structure and the Waiata sung in support of the speech at the end.

Hello,
We are Sherry and Mobin and we could like to thankyou for commenting on our blogs. Also thankyou alot for telling us the Polynesian Cultures shortly. How about I type down questions that I need to be answered.

* What types of celebrations do they have?
* Which celebration are the most important ones?
* Explain how do they celebrate their ceremonies.
* When do they celebrate stuff?
* Explain the things they do daily.
* What do they do in the celebrations?

Thanks alot!
Sincerely,
Mr.Toa's class

@ Mr Toa's class from China - thanks so much for your comments and questions our students are all preparing work to answer them all and will post them shortly.

@ pestream 2 - Joseph is Maori and was very proud to win the competition, although I think the Boys supporting with the Waiata could have had a little more calmness to them!
