Tamaki Int. - Holidays Week 1 Update

This week we've been a little lax with posts due to our schools involvement in fund raising at the Walter Dixon Under 55kg Boys Auckland Representative Rugby Tournament. We were given the opportunity by Mr Wagner at Viscount School who ran the tournament to run the BBQ at the tournament which was at Sacred Heart College on Monday and then at Archibald Park in Keltson from Tuesday to Friday. Between 10:30am and 1:00pm each day we were selling sausages for $1.00 each for players and supporters. We need to thank Miss Curran, Miss Tauri and Miss Feasey who all helped out during the week. Tamaki Intermediate managed to shift 1,300 sausages and 500 drinks during the week! Phew! Never mind the onions, mustard and sauce that went with it. The good news is that we have raised a significant amount of money needed for the Girls Basketball Team to travel to Tauranga to compete in the AIMS Nationals!
The other positive is that we have a lot of processed footage from last week of school and this will go online in the coming week before school continues again after the final week of our break this week!
