Tamaki Int. - End of Term Assembly T2 2008

This is highlight of Tamaki Intermediate Schools End of Term Assembly on Friday 4th July 2008. Each term we have the awarding of class of the term (last term Room 12 had the honour), the presentation of Duffy Books, the classroom term awards. Most importantly we had the awarding of the term house shield. At Tamaki Intermediate all students are split into one of four houses Orpheus - Blue, Calliope - Red, Achilles - Yellow and Leander - Green. The students compete against each other once a week in house competitions and also are awarded points in class each week. The houses are all named after ships that were part of the New Zealand Navy in the Second World War. The houses date right back to the founding of our school in 1956! In term one the winning house was Achilles House, could they repeat the feat and take a huge lead? Would Leander, Achilles or Orpheus step up? View the assembly highlights filmed by Victor and find out!
