Tamaki Int. - Haka/Waiata Rehearsal 2

These are the highlights from Achilles House. Achilles house is the Yellow house at our school. The rehearsal is the first chance for our students to show their cultural act. Each house had to have five separate acts as a whole for their cultural performance, that had to reflect the culture of the students at our school. Filmed by Mereana and Sosaia at Tamaki Intermediate School Hall on Wednesday 3rd December 2008. A more detailed description is being prepared by the students and will be posted tomorrow.

Mr. Webb,

Thank you for the comment on our blog. We also just started our blog this year.

Your question: "Is this part of the regular assessment for your students or something specific to your school?"

I am not sure if you are referring to the blog itself or the online review I provided for my students. Neither of which is necessarily a regular part of student assessment in our school district, nor within our school. The blog, we (the team of teachers that I share students with) thought would be a useful communication tool. As far as the test review, I often try to provide online resources for my students and their parents.
