Tamaki Int. - Blog Check - Grey Lynn Primary

If you do one thing today I'd like to you check out the following link to Grey Lynn Primary School.

They've only just started their blog but are already getting very excited about it in a short time. If there's some of our international friends who might be able to visit the site, the more 'foreign' the better (if you didn't know you are absolutely thrilling the students in New Zealand by logging onto their sites I have students who check the live feedjit feed every half and hour and used the atlas to check where your from...)

Thanks for that. Much appreciated. I would like to visit your class next Friday if that's alright. And bring a Samoan song for the kids to learn to sing.

Thanks for the post on our blog. Room 16 kids are so fired up to share their learning with anyone who wants find out about all the cool things we are doing at Grey Lynn school. We think your blog looks amazing and it has some excellent ideas in the lay out that we could use in our own blog. Thanks for your help in getting us started.

Hi Mr Webb,
Just wanted to say thanks for all the comments you've left on the various Marybank Blogs-I've never quite got around to posting on your site (even though I've visited on a number of occasions). You are a very pro-active blogger! I am trying desperately to get our blogs running at the same level as last year but my non teaching commitment is making this much more difficult! Time to empower the kids to take full responsibility for posting etc..!
Anyway, happy blogging!

@ Grey Lynn - its a pleasure to help. I have to say I think the visits your getting when you've just started are amazing! We hardly got any visitors over the first few months and it was hard to keep keen, it was only because other people helped that made the difference!

@ Mr Quigley thanks for the note, yes we are a big fan of the Marybank Seniors site and this was the first blog internationally to ever visit us back and put us on the blog roll so it has always been a special place for Tamaki Intermediate. We have some time issues here as well, but with our classroom computers being increased to two in the last two weeks we will be trying to get some more work done!

We have gone on and had a look. Thank you for all your supportive comments. It is an amazing day here in Wanaka today. We had our athletic sports so watch our blog over the next few days for photos. Happy blogging everyone!
