In this Samoan lesson Gaifo and Zecillia teach you how to perform a Samoan Sasa. They demonstrate what you need to know and how to do it. We'd also like you to think about performing one yourselves from your country or school and send it to us! You need a leader for the participants to follow and come up with a pattern of slaps and calls! Check out this video for the all the details! Written by Zecillia and Gaifo.

Hi Gaifo and Zecillia!
I really liked your Samoan Sasa video! I teach dance at Panmure Bridge School, so I love to watch all kinds of dancing. Well done for the enjoyable performance, explaining what was going on through your subtitles. I also liked your funky video transition. I will tell my dance kids to check out your video and try your moves themselves!
Keep up the great work,
Miss Day

Hello Gaifo and Zecillia,
I really enjoyed your Sasa video! Your dancing was lovely. It was good to get a better understanding through the subtitles. I will definitely recommend the kids at school to check out your video.
Well done,

Hello Tamaki Intermediate. We are enjoying reading your blog and keeping up with all your sporting activities.
We have two more weeks until our Science Fair - Mr Webb asked if we could post some videos of our projects. We certainly will! We are going to make a short video and maybe use Youtube! We are a year 6 class so we would love to get some feedback from an intermediate! Pity you are on the other side of Auckland - otherwise you could come and visit the fair.
