In a change to previous years this year the Girls are required to wear boots. Mouthguards are compulsory. If you don’t have one the can be purchased from the School Office for three dollars.

The Open Grade Girls Rugby from Tamaki Intermediate have a proud tradition undefeated at this competition since June 2000. The Under 55kg have adjusted from a weight limit change last year (where the competition experimented at Under 50kg). They were runners up to a strong Bucklands Beach Intermediate School team, and will be looking to add to school wins in the tournament in 2004/5/6.
