Tamaki Int. - Girls Touch Result

Sports for Tamaki Intermediate School has nearly finished for the year with our second to last tournament of the year - Girls Touch. The team had a number of close games, a half time draw with Remuera Intermediate turned into a 1-3 defeat. Following that we had to take on Howick Intermediate who during a 18 minute game scored the only try of the game in the first thirty seconds! We then had to take on Farm Cove who were undefeated and were able to take the game by winning 3-1. We followed up that with a 2-0 win against Pakuranga Intermediate. Other results had gone against us by this stage and we duly lost our last game to Sancta Maria College 0-1. This meant that we missed the semi-final play offs who were contested by Howick, Remuera and St Kents and BBI. True to the form for most of year Bucklands Beach Intermediate went on the claim the title. For the sports calendar remaining for this year we only have Athletics and League Tag.

The bubbleshares look great.. kind of! For some reason only a sliver of the slideshow is playing on my computer. I am running Firefox. I would love to see all the cool bubbleshare pics that you put up. Can you please let me know what I might need to add so that they work for me. Thanks Miss S. @ Twenty2,EPS

Hmmm I have to say that I'm not a hundred percent sure about that. Perhaps there's a utility that you need but then I'm not sure what system you have running.

@Miss s. I have the same trouble sometimes, usually if I close out and open up again it works.

Congratulations on your athletics this year, it sounds like you had a great year so far. Our American football team has only won 1 out of the 8 games we have played so far. Our school is known as a poor football school.

@ wm chamberlain. That sounds like our Boys Rugby Union teams this year, we had a win in our first game and then lost all our other games for the season. Its hard to motivate the students sometimes if they expect to lose but then participation is really important too.

Dear Room 6,

Thank you for visiting us on our blog. We think your blog is cool too. We really like the post you wrote on your blog since now we're getting lots of visitors. Your blog is cool because you have videos and a bubble share. We might do that soon too!

From Keaston.

Hi Tamaki Intermediate - this is your good friends at BBI. Congratulations on the way you have played throughout the season. You are very deserving of your successes, and may they continue (but not when you play against us LOL).
Keep it up - looking forward to the rest of the year.

@ Lenva - thanks its been tough this year competing against BBI they've been so good - your Girls teams have just been amazing, Stacey and the rest of your coaches and students have done an amazing job! What's also really nice has been the spirit and the way they've competed. Outstanding.

@ Faye. Thanks for the support don't forget to leave a link to your class blog so we can write comments back!
